A book we have long desired, a gift we have long promised ourselves, our guests, and all those who have followed us on this inspiring voyage, one that has come to fruition thanks to our friends Daria Reina and Andrea Ferolla, talented creative directors who have channelled our passion for Passalacqua into a moving collage of heartfelt words, evocative photographs and chic illustrations.
In Passalacqua: A Love Letter to Lake Como, Daria’s intimate, warm photos and Andrea’s chic, carefree sketches narrate with joy, empathy and a touch of good humor the past, present and future of the grand villa we hold in our care. Linking these tableaux, like the garlands of a frieze, are the words of some of the friends and acquaintances who have accompanied us on what has been a transformative journey.
